Just pragmatically, it's clear that Medium does not have the capacity to police AI text. Given that AI-generated text will be here, whether we want it or not, the bigger question is "How do we keep readers' feeds from becoming a cesspool of junk -- bot-generated or otherwise?" And that has to do with finding more effective ways to encourage readers to follow only writers of consistent quality, and to make it really easy to find those writers on the platform.
